Johnson Matthey's Emission Control Technologies (ECT) business participates in a range of educational activities with university, secondary and primary school students as part of its schools outreach programme.

Our facilities host numerous visits from schools every year and our engineers and scientists regularly volunteer to give presentations and talk to students at local schools about the work we do.

Our educational liaison activities allow us to show how the chemical sciences and manufacturing fit into everyday life and what life is like as a scientist at Johnson Matthey.

The role of environmental technologies in the drive towards a more sustainable future is something that these prospective scientists and engineers can easily grasp and it has a strong appeal.
