Product range

Johnson Matthey’s range of systems for construction equipment and other non-road machines ensures that there is a system suitable for every application.

Type Regeneration technique Used when
DPF-CRT® Johnson Matthey’s CRT® technology  Ultra low sulphur diesel is available and duty cycle is suitable
DPFiS A fuel additive is metered into the diesel fuel. It acts a catalyst, helping the soot to burn in the exhaust stream ULSD is not available but machine duty cycle gives high exhaust temperature
DPFi An electrical heater in the system raises the temperature to burn away the collected soot at standstill Exhaust temperatures are too low for CRT® system with ULSD or DPFiS with higher sulphur fuel
DPFc The filter element is removed from the machine and placed on a heated regeneration station to burn away the soot As for DPFi but can offer advantages when running several small machines.

A PIO2000 electronic back-pressure monitor / data logger is supplied with every system.
