Applications - Diesel Retrofit

These systems follow the same principle as the DPFi. The difference is that the electrical heater is in a stand-alone regeneration station and not inside the filter unit itself. This means that the filter element must be dismounted from the machine and placed on a regeneration station where it is heated to remove the soot.

Advantages:	no restriction on operating temperature or fuel types
	machine can continue working with second filter while first regenerates
Conditions:	requires active regeneration when particulate filter is full
	filter unit must be dismounted for regeneration
