EMISSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES
Welcome to the home page of Johnson Matthey Emission Control Technologies (ECT).
Johnson Matthey has been actively involved in the supply of catalysts to control pollutant emissions since the late 1960s, when catalyst technology was used to control stack emissions from nitric acid plants in North America.
Since making the first catalysts to control vehicle pollution in 1974, Johnson Matthey has supplied 1 in 3 of all autocatalysts ever made. A global leader in catalytic systems for emissions control, Johnson Matthey Emission Control Technologies has 15 manufacturing sites and 9 technology centres around the world.
Johnson Matthey Emission Control Technologies offers products and services in six main areas:
Catalyst technologies to enable manufacturers of trucks and buses, cars, motorcycles and small utility engines to meet ever more stringent emissions regulations.
Retrofit technology, including the famous CRT® and SCRT® systems and SCR catalysts for the control of diesel emissions from buses, trucks, construction equipment, trains and other heavy diesel engines.
Catalysts & systems for the control of gaseous and particulate emissions from stationary sources such as chemical plant & industrial processes, waste-to-energy industries, SCR catalysts for coal-fired power plants, gas turbines, diesel engines and gas engines.
Systems for the control of emissions from marine and locomotive applications.
Contract testing services for engines, engine emissions and catalyst performance.
Piezo Products for a variety of different markets.
Customers in all areas benefit from JM’s comprehensive and proven range of catalyst technologies, global technical support and high quality, accredited manufacturing processes.
